This is the jeans from Maison Fauve's wardrobe. Its high waist cut takes the hips well, leaves the thigh comfortable and tightens on the ankle not to compact but on the contrary slender while keeping the comfort. And sewn in a fabric more precious than jeans, it's squarely a strong piece that will be perfect with a small top slipped inside. And as usual, the Maison Fauve touch: the very nice folds that dress the pockets, and twist this iconic wardrobe.
Sewing level:advanced. The technical point is the placement of the zip on a fly, and the laying of the belt.
Choice of fabric:
- The pattern is made for an elastane-free fabric such as jeans, a tailor-type wooling suitable for the sewing of trousers, a cotton twill, a jacquard (attention that upside down is soft). If you want to sew the garment in a fabric that has a bit of elastane, do not exceed 2% elastane or elastic fiber in the composition and sew the size below the size chosen for a fabric without elastane.

For a fabric laize in 140 :
- SIZE 34-40 it takes 150 cm of fabric
- SIZE 42-46 it takes 180 cm of fabric
- SIZE 48-52 it takes 210 cm of fabric
- pocket bags are cut into a lining fabric 30x70 cm
- thermo-stick suitable for your choice of fabric for thermo-gluing belts
- an 18 cm non separable zip
- a button of 15 to 20 mm
- a trade bias film (or handmade) the quantity of which will be chosen on the size of the graduation table
There are many areas stitched on your pants, for a jeans style style do not hesitate to use a yarn that contrasts (often in brown tones, bronze up to yellow for a blue cotton jeans fabric), and expand a bit your stitching point on the clothing place, it's prettier.
