Sewing threads

Thread is the most invisible element of your project - and that's exactly why you need to pick it well. Poor-quality thread breaks, pills, bleeds in the wash, and damages your machine over time. At Calissone, we work almost exclusively with Fil au Chinois (polyester 120 and cotton), Gütermann, DMC and a few specialised brands for machine embroidery.

Our palette goes beyond 200 shades for polyester 120 thread, which covers 90 % of everyday sewing needs. You'll also find heavy topstitching threads (jean-style, bag-style), elastic threads for smocked gathers, and machine embroidery threads in 1,000-metre spools.

Memory trick: for invisible seams, pick a thread half a shade darker than your fabric. It will blend in better than a lighter one.
