Synthetic & Polyester
Although often decried, synthetic fabrics nevertheless remain essential due to their durability, ease of maintenance and diversity of textures. Synthetic fabric is a material made from artificial or synthetic fibers such as polyester, nylon, acrylic and spandex.
We pay particular attention to selecting quality synthetic fabrics. They hold up well to wrinkles, are fade resistant, easy to care for and retain their original shape.
In clothing, we will gladly find them for warm winter outfits such as swimwear or sportswear. Indeed, only synthetic materials can offer tenfold properties of elasticity, water resistance or breathability.
To our point: synthetic fabrics tend to retain heat, not be as breathable as natural fabrics and cause irritation depending on sensitivity.
