Faux leather (vegan leather) lets you make bags, belts, jackets and accessories with the look of leather, without using animal products - and at a much more accessible price. Contemporary versions have come a long way: more natural hand-feel, better body, better wear resistance.

Our range covers several textures: smooth (classic nappa effect), grained (leather-grain texture), suede effect (nubuck-style), and a few patent-leather imitations for bolder projects. Our colour palette ranges from timeless essentials (black, cognac, taupe) to more creative shades (terracotta, petrol blue, sage).

For what projects? Bags and pouches, belts, straps, jackets, gilets, structured skirts, patches and decorative panels.

Sewing tip: use a Microtex 80/12 or a leather 90/14 needle. Never pin in visible areas - the holes stay forever. Use clip-pins or repositionable tape. And increase stitch length to 3-3.5 mm to avoid perforation.

Faux leather has become a credible alternative to real leather: cheaper, cruelty-free, and technically easier to sew. Our selection avoids low-grade fauxs that crack within a season, and favours durable references, often made in Europe. Filter by texture (smooth, grained, suede, patent), by thickness (thin for garments, thicker for bags) and by colour.
