I am Marty, a sewing pattern with multiple possibilities, 150 to be exact! Yes, I come in 150 versions thanks to my different styles, collars, sleeves, lengths, button tabs... I can be a top, a tunic or a dress with a gathered cutout, or a top or a simple dress known as "liquette" due to its shape of the bottom of the shirts of yesteryear.
Marty has 5 armhole options: sleeveless, short sleeve, 3/4 sleeve with gathered cuff, long sleeve with gathered cuff and blouse sleeve. The pattern has 3 different collars: Mao collar, shirt collar, and double shirt collar. Marty also has 2 buttoning options: polo placket or classic button placket (either partial or all the way down the center front). With its endless variations, you can wear a different version for each of your trips through time. Or choose to sew a few versions that last over time.

Pattern pieces overlap. You will need to postpone the pattern.
The pattern includes an envelope in which you will find a pattern sheet, a step-by-step explanation booklet with diagrams.

*Given the number of versions that this pattern can be made, it is impossible to list all the measurements for all the versions in all sizes. We therefore indicate them for three different versions (A11, C1 and J10). To calculate the yardage needed for other versions, refer to step “2. Cut the fabric” in the explanations.
Iron-on adhesive: 50 cm x 80 cm
12mm buttons: 4 to 15 buttons depending on the version chosen
Pre-folded bias: 140 cm maximum
Flat elastic 2.5 cm wide: 70 cm maximum
RECOMMENDED FABRICS
Fine to medium warp and weft fabrics: poplin, viscose, Tencel, plumetis, chambray, light crepe, fine denim, silk, linen, washed cotton, cupro, etc.
