The RAFALE windbreaker combines the classic and timeless line of outerwear and the attention to detail dear to Maison Fauve. The face will be well protected by a lined hood embellished with a small visor, and tightened with a tie.
The cut is structured by worked cutouts and yokes, an impeccably cut sleeve highlighted with small darts, a large kangaroo pocket with a trompe l'oeil flap (you can slide your hands in but not open the pocket from above) and a comfortable length. Practical and stylish, it will reinvent itself according to the choice of fabrics and your outfits.
Sewing level
Advanced, the technical points of the pattern are: make French seams and folded seams, install an invisible zip, install an elastic band and sew rounded areas and darts. The pattern does not present any significant technical difficulties but it has a lot of pieces.
From 34 to 52, for a height of 1m65.

Choice of fabric
Flexible and light fabrics between 70 and 200g/m2, such as fine denim, fine coated or water-repellent fabrics, but also fine gabardine, medium weight twill, cotton satin. For the hood lining, a cotton veil will be the most comfortable.
The pattern does not include a lining, the interior finishes are impeccable thanks to the English and folded seams.
