Fabrics & supplies

Fabrics

• Main fabric: cotton canvas such as gabardine or denim (for parkas or jackets), synthetic canvas such as polyamide, more or less thick polyester and coated canvas (for raincoats), or water-repellent (for light windbreakers or "bomber" style jackets).
• Lining (for hood and pocket base and optional for body and sleeves): cotton poplin or viscose, fine synthetic canvas (nylon spirit), micro fleece or sherpa. Choose fine synthetic materials for the sleeves (with optional wadding for winter.
• Ribbed edge for ribbed collar option.

Supplies

• Fine woven interfacing.
• 1 separable zip (single slider or double slider for mid-length and long versions).
• 1 elastic 2 cm wide for the cuffs, and, optionally, 3 cm wide for the hem of the short version.
• Optional: 1 cord for the hood and 1 for the drawstring.
• Optional: 2 eyelets for the hood and 2 for the slider (8 to 10 mm in diameter).
• Optional: 2 cord stops for the hood cord and 2 for the drawstring cord.
• Optional: 2 non-separable zips (for the sides of the mid-length and long versions) length 20 cm.
