Studio Inktvis fell for Riso due to the intense impressions he produces. The Riso printing principle is therefore very similar to that of screen printing. The final printing is made by hand or beautiful, not perfect. The process is also environmentally friendly. The ink is based on soy oil produced fairly and the basic leaves are in Japanese waxed paper. The machine consumes very little energy because riso printing is a cold printing process.
