Anti-fraying glue
Solvent-free glue to stabilize raw edges of fabrics. It is perfect for preventing fraying of works and clothes. You can apply it to buttonholes, seam allowances, shirt collars or cuffs... It also adapts to all types of fabric: from sheer to velvet! Very easy to use thanks to the pipette, it also dries quickly!
This anti-fraying glue is easy to use and will quickly join your sewing equipment just like your needles. Thanks to the pipette you will be able to perfectly measure and distribute the glue along your seams, buttonholes and other creative leisure projects including protruding threads. The use of anti-fray glue is a recent sewing technique that helps stabilize seams, fabrics and threads.
Anti-fraying glue can also be used to repair threaded tights or to prevent a rug or carpet from falling apart. You can use it in the context of upcycling canvases or furnishing elements without them falling apart over time.
This anti-fraying glue will also help you increase the resistance of your embroidery. When you have finished embroidering a project, you can complete your knots at the back with a small dot of glue to ensure that the threads do not slip. Likewise, if you are making appliqués, whether for patchwork, upcycling or mending clothes, anti-fraying glue helps ensure greater longevity for your project.
How to use anti-fraying glue?
- Start by cutting any threads that are already protruding from your fabric. You can use scissors, thread cutters or pinking shears depending on your project.
- Unscrew the pipette cap. If this is your first time using scissors (other than those you use for cutting thread and fabric) and cut the top of the pipette at the mark.
- Apply the pipette along the raw edge to be stabilized and apply a little glue.
- Let dry.
Its dosing bottle allows for great precision. It supports washing up to 40°. It becomes transparent as it dries for maximum discretion. Solvent-free, this glue is formulated with water.
