Its “wide leg” shape is characterized by a wide cut along the entire length of the leg, from the thigh to the hem. The hips are fitted well and the waist is mid-rise, giving the model a very flattering and comfortable fit. The pattern has all the elements to ensure the perfect finish of a hand-sewn jean: the topstitching, the raised back, the beautiful patch pockets, the ticket pocket... It's all there!

Le Patron Ronsard grades from 34 to 52. The table of measurements of the finished garment is available in the product photos. Emilie wears Ronsard in size 34, Isabelle in size 38 and Vanina in size 52.

Choice of fabric

Medium weight fabrics 200 to 350g/m2 such as denim, cotton canvas, gabardine. If you want to sew the garment in a fabric that contains a little elastane, do not exceed 2% elastane or elastic fiber in the composition and sew the size below the size chosen for a fabric without elastane.

Fabric for a width of 140cm: 34-36: 180 cm, 38-46: 210 cm, 48-52: 230 cm

To sew Ronsard with Parade fabric, the quantities of fabric needed and the cutting plans differ. You will find the details in the visuals of the product sheet.

30 cm of lining for the pocket
120 cm of iron-on fabric
An 18 cm trouser fly
A 15 to 20 mm button (Maison Fauve jean buttons are 17 mm)
For a "jean" type style, do not hesitate to use a 6/0 double needle and a contrasting thread for the reinforcement stitching on the right side of the garment.
