Recommended fabrics:

Opt for a durable fabric (250 to 300 g/m²), such as cotton canvas, light denim, fine canvas or thick cotton. These materials will highlight the structure of the model while maintaining a comfortable fit. Avoid fabrics that are too thin or too fluid.

Ideas for creating an upcycled blouse or dress:

• This model requires little yardage: it is the ideal project for promoting pretty forgotten coupons or household linens. A printed or floral sheet, or even a cotton curtain will offer beautiful patterns perfect for summer.
• For a more structured version, opt for a thicker cotton or fine velvet.
• The facings can be made from scraps of fabric or a pillowcase: have fun with patterns or contrasts for a discreet but unique detail.
